Brunch with Marie Sunday morning at my new favorite place, followed by work of course. Whined for approximately ten years about being scheduled till close New Years Eve and at 8am (!?!! how.) the next morning so Mick struck me a deal...

which meant I had to work at 7:30 yesterday morning BUT I was done by 1:30...went grocery shopping, took a long run around Boulder, watched some trash tv and cooked tortilla soup while I waited to see Sam.

IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE SAM. The next five days are going to be nothing but Sam & work with a brief interim of partying Thursday night.

Came home today to spend more time sitting around with my parents and see Emily some more. Saw Up in the Air with my parents and nearly fell out of my chair in the scene when George Clooney and Vera Farmiga sneak into his old high school. Elliot Smith's "Angel in the Snow" is playing and she turns to him and says, "Did you ever fool around with a teacher?" HOW DOES JASON REITMAN HAVE THE UNCANNY ABILITY TO DO THAT?
